Docklands Light Railway (DLR) (tel: (020) 7363 9700; www.tfl.gov.uk) services run from London City Airport DLR station, which is next to the terminal building. Trains run every 8 to 15 minutes, and take 22 minutes to reach Bank station (fare: £4.50). Fares on the DLR and London Underground are substantially reduced when using an electronic Oyster Card, which can be purchased at the station ticket office. The nearest London Underground connection is Canning Town (Jubilee Line), which is seven minutes via the DLR from the airport.
Local bus 473 links London City Airport to Stratford and North Woolwich, while buses 300 and 474 serve Canning Town (tel: (020) 7222 1234; www.tfl.gov.uk). A single bus ride costs £2.40.
A payable daily shuttle bus service runs every 30 minutes to a number of hotels in the area.
A taxi stand with licensed black taxis is located directly outside the terminal building. Metered fares to central London are approximately £25-30, depending on traffic conditions and the exact destination.
The main long- and short-stay car parks are next to the terminal. There is also a business car park. Parking can be pre-booked at a discount via the airport website or by telephone (tel: 0844 332 1237). Valet parking is available Monday to Friday (tel: (020) 7646 0155).
