How to get there
From central Toronto, follow the Gardiner Expressway westbound and turn north on Highway 427. The airport is clearly signposted from this road after around 10km (6 miles).
Public bus services are provided by the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) (tel: (416) 393 4636 or 866 642 9882; www.ttc.ca). The 192 Airport Rocket provides an all-day accessible service between the airport and Kipling Station on the Bloor-Danforth Subway (journey time: 20 minutes; fare: C$3), from which travellers can take the subway to downtown Toronto.
There are other bus and coach services to Toronto and the surrounding areas. Information is available from the ground transportation desks in the arrivals hall of each terminal.
The tariff for taxis and limousines to/from the airport is based on metered rates, with updated tariffs and company listings available on the airport website. The general fare to central Toronto is around C$50.
There are more than 15,000 car parking spaces at Toronto Pearson International Airport. Short-term parking is located in car parks linked to both terminals – the Express Car Park at Terminal 1 is only available for stays of up to three hours. There are reduced rate, long-stay car parks on Viscount Road and Airport Road; these are connected to the airport terminals by the free LINK train. A ‘cell phone waiting lot’ is available for drivers picking up arriving passengers.
