Form central Seoul, take the Gangbyeonbuk-ro route northwards and turn off onto the eastbound Incheon International Airport Expressway – this leads directly to the airport site. An expressway toll is payable from/to Incheon and Seoul.
The Airport Railroad Express (tel: (032) 745 7788; www.arex.or.kr) links the airport directly with Seoul Station (journey time: 60 minutes; fare: ₩3,950).
Passengers can choose between numerous limousine or regular inter-city buses. The inter-city buses stop at the major districts and hotels around Seoul. Local city busses 111 and 303 link the airport to central Incheon. For a full listing of bus routes, visit the airport’s website. Journey times and fares vary according to comfort, standard and route but start at around ₩2,800.
Regular, deluxe and ‘jumbo’ taxis (for up to nine people) can be hired at the airport (journey time to central Seoul: 50 minutes; fare: from ₩45,000 – 80,000 depending on taxi classification). Taxi stands are situated at the exit in Arrivals.
Long- and short-term parking facilities are available at Seoul Incheon International Airport. The short-term car park is linked to the terminal by walkways. An airport shuttle bus runs from the long-term car park to the passenger terminal every 8 minutes between 0600-2200, and at longer intervals outside these times.
