How to get there
The airport road, Peña Boulevard, can be accessed via an exit off Interstate 70 in east Denver. Interstate 70 offers connections to Interstates 25, 225 and 76. Peña Boulevard can also be accessed from the E-470 toll road and Airport Boulevard in Aurora.
RTD Skyride services (tel: 303 299 6000; www.rtd-denver.com) depart from the west side of the terminal at island 5 on level 5; these serve numerous destinations in and around Denver. The journey time to central Denver is around 1 hour and the fare is US$11.
Shuttle minibuses are available from a number of providers. These can be found at island 3 on level 5, outside the terminal building. Many hotels also offer shuttle bus services. Rates to central Denver start at around US$50, depending on the provider.
Taxis, charters and luxury limousines are available to all destinations in the surrounding area from level 5. A flat rate fare of US$55.15 applies to Denver city centre, with fares charged by the meter for other routes.
There are many parking options at Denver International Airport, including two short-term multistorey car parks to the east and west of the terminal. Uncovered economy parking is also available.
Long-term parking options include Pikes Peak Shuttle Lot, which is located south of Peña Boulevard on 75th Avenue. Shuttles drop passengers off outside the check-in area. The remote Mt Elbert Shuttle Lot is used for overflow parking; this is also served by a shuttle.
Valet parking is accessible from level 4 on the east and west sides of the terminal.
