How to get there
From east Bologna, head north on Tangenziale Kennedy (the bypass), take exit 4 and follow signs to the airport.
From the A14, which skirts the north of the city, drivers should take the Bologna-San Lazzaro exit; once on the bypass road, they should then take exit 4 for the airport.
From the A13 (which leads from Padova), passengers should take the Bologna-Arcoveggio exit; then, once on the bypass road, they should take exit 4 for the airport.
From the A1 (which links to Milan) passengers should take the Bologna-Casalecchio exit; then, once on the bypass, they should take exit 4 for the airport.
Aerobus (tel: 05129 0290; www.tper.it) operates the Linea BLQ service, which departs every 15
minutes from outside the arrivals area of the Main Terminal and runs to Bologna central railway station and the city centre (journey time: 20 minutes; fare: €6). Tickets can be bought on the bus. There are also bus services to/from Modena Airport and Modena city centre (journey time: 60 minutes) and to/from Siena (journey time: 2 hours 30 minutes).
Taxi services (tel: 051 372 727 or 4590) are available outside the arrivals area of the Main Terminal. The trip into the city takes 15 to 20 minutes and costs €20 to €25.
There are more than 5,000 parking spaces split between five car parks at the airport. There are separate car parks for short-term, medium-term and long-term parking. A valet service is also available on the ground level of P2.
